Constants of timesOfIndia

Times of India , one of the most circulated papers in bangalore has 2 constant things coming up in its news....
one is which almost comes in every newspaper at bangalore every day that is

Two men on a motor cycle robbed a pedestrian blah blah blah....

and the other one is which u can c only in Time of India that is

Sania mirza bla blah blah.....
here the constants are Robbed and Sania Mirza . I dont know why without sania in their columns they could not print a paper even when there is absolutely nothing in the news about her. Just look at the following link its absolutely useless and has come n number of times in the news paper in different versions

http://o3.indiatimes.com/sania_mistake

This paper is kind of one which promotes itself on sleaze. For more proof just go through the following link , perhaps one of the most useless news i have evr read and it also irritated me very much when i read the first line of it after which i am prompted to write this blog column.

Whats ur take on it guys ???

Alcohol..count the calories ... Drunkards special

hey good one ..

These are written after going through some link in rediff.com

~ One bottle of beer has about 150 calories.
~ Beer, wine and liquor (an alcoholic beverage made by distillation rather than fermentation) contain different quantities of alcohol; 15 mugs (250 ml per mug) of beer, 6 glasses (200 ml per glass) of wine and 10 shots of liquor (like tequila, whisky, rum) have about the same amount of alcohol.
~ Beer has between 3 to 8 percent alcohol. 'Light' or low-cal beers contain around three percent alcohol.
~ Liqueurs (sweetened spirits with various flavours, oils and extracts) such as sherry and dessert liqueurs contain 40 to 50 percent alcohol and tend to have more calories.
~ White wines average 12 percent, while red wines have around 14 percent alcohol.Note: The number of calories also depend on the size of the peg. Adding any carbonated beverage or fruit juice would increase the calorie content of the drink as juices and beverages contain calories.

so guys keep ur drink levels low man. If possible stop drinking.

Typical day in a S/W engr life...

I hope many are experiencing similar days more frequently in their s/w engg field which they thought would have brought a
tough and challenging work practice.....
ok so lets start the day of a s/w engr....
Get up at early morning 8.00 o clock .Get ready for the office within 1 hr(brush the teeth, take bath, eat break fast , dress
up well ....etc etc all in 1 hr time flat....)
Then go to the bus stand and catch some government bus or late office bus... if u catch the government bus then u can reach
Upto the city limit and beyond that u will find many private cabs or vans operating upto the company's premises which is
definitely a neat 30 mins to 2 hrs drive from the outskirts.....
As soon as you get down near the gate of the office .. go for a smoke ... run run run as it will consume time and you r
already late dear....
go to the office ... check the mails... check some General knowledge giving sites and also update ur self with the latest
news .. some tips in this regard (thehindu.com, economictimes.com, timesofindia.com , rediff.com, sify.com, sify.com/movies
this is excellent man)...appadi veetula paper selavu cut)....
have a coffe break....
then do some work ofcourse you r paid for that dear.... then suddenly you may get a call from ur frend....oops he calls for a lunch .... pack ur stuff(lunch box if u got it r money if u have it)... goto lunch..this is one place where u can c lots of colours... u can see people from various states ...truly national integration at its
best... alas lunch gets over ... bid adieu to ur frends get back to work...
but after good lunch we need a sleep which comes automatically and takes away atleast 30 mins of ours....then to let the
sleep go off have a good smoke which also eases our tension u c....arey baba work atleast now ...again check mails chat tea
break etc and als its time to go and my god you never knew when the day got off...again have a smoke ,catch some late office
shuttle, and sleep well until u reach ur house bcoz at house u have the biggest work of the day seeing T.V dear..and its
midnight before u settle down on watching T.V . So pack off for the day and take a nap and wait for the next day to come...
Is this wat u r experiencing guys ,really pathetic. And I share my pity with you guys Luckily i am not among you i have a really vibrant day guys..

Saurav dada come back to form.....

every one from the media to the coach to the fans of indian cricket(atleast a majority) think that Saurav doesn't need a place in the Team for his lack lustre performance during the past year.....
I dont really think so.... u c this guy has been truly one of the most inspiring captains ... who could forget the wins of india on the foreign soil at Australia,Pakistan and South Africa undoubtedly some of the best cricket playing nations under the dada ... he also holds the record for reaching the fastest 5000 runs in one day and has an excellent strike rate ....

Now that indians have played really well under Dravid against the not so best in form Sri Lanka on home grounds...doesn't mean Ganguly 's position has to be axed... i mean India could have won the match even with Ganguly... he also deserves a place in the Indian team thats gonna play against South Africa,if not as a captain atleast as a player, particularly after some good performance in the last two matches he played....

It has become a habit to glorify a person when he reaches good form and throw him to Abyss for some ocasional non performance..... Anyway All Ganguly fans would wish him good luck in making a comeback and I am sure Ganguly will come back like fire and blow out all the Critics with the heat soon...
